Three different indicators

Difficulty describes the overall complexity of getting into position. Effort reflects strength or endurance. Flexibility concerns joint range. A posture can be easy to understand yet physically active.

Levels change with the day

Fatigue, temperature, stress and recent exercise all affect sensation. Treat levels as estimates, never personal rankings. Start one level lower when trying a new arrangement.

  • Gentle warm-up
  • Regular breathing
  • No bouncing
  • Pause when an area tires

Reduce the demand

Bring supports closer and use a stable surface to reduce effort. Bend joints slightly or change angle to reduce range. The aim is a controlled, sustainable position, not a perfect shape.
